With the growing popularity of the sharing and on-demand economy, we’re excited to offer innovative solutions that meet consumer’s changing needs.

How are drivers and passengers protected?
Intact Insurance provides commercial insurance coverage from the moment drivers make themselves available to accept a ride request, to the moment passengers exit the vehicle. This coverage automatically applies to all Uber drivers (regardless of their personal auto insurance provider) and passengers.

When Uber drivers are using their vehicle for personal use, Intact Insurance, Novex,customers are protected as usual under their personal auto insurance policy at no additional cost.
